Forgetting Fundamentals

“I would they were even cut off which trouble you.”
Galatians 5:12.

When we forget the basic rules then it is a given fact that all is lost. The fundamentals are essential for survival for us in every endeavor. This is the reason that before any person can build any edifice – there must be a plan.  It’s commonly called a blueprint. When there is no diagram the structure will be a colossal failure.

Look at the great structure of the world and immediately you see a plan which has been carried out. When the follow-through is not pursued; then disaster is inevitable.

There were several battles which were laid out for us in the Old Testament. Joshua planned attacks. Gideon followed God’s plan. When the Battle of the Bulge started in 1944, George S. Patton told the committee that he already had a design to stop the German offense.

There is no way for your author to support the remark to be written. As a Christian, I know only two sites which will be open; they are heaven and hell. It is a sad mental comment upon this state of mind.

Many people never even consider where their eternity will be spent!

God mentioned a plan was unfolding when there was a discussion with Abraham. The design was unfolding sometimes right before their eyes. This is a partial list:

Seed of Abraham – Genesis 12:3,
• Seed of Isaac – Genesis 17:19,
• Tribe of Judah – Genesis 49:10,
• Born in Bethlehem – Micah 5:2,
• Given vinegar – Psalm 69:21,
• Buried with rich – Isaiah 53:9, and
• Resurrected – Psalm 49:15.

The plan was in place. Through the centuries we were given more and more revelation of his preconceived arrangement. Only a fool ever says this was a fluke.

One of the great fulfillments was how God gave to we people this Inheritance called the United States of America.

When my wife had an exclusive dress job in Odessa, TX; there was a woman who would come to the store and ask to take home a fashionable dress. Then, she’d return the garment in two days. She would copy the dress. The plan was to take it, copy it, and then wear it. The plan was simple. It was a plan so she didn’t have to buy a $500.00 or $600.00 dress. It was a form of theft.

There have been set out several maneuvers which indicated that arrangements can be made to bring about some event.

Each one of us have known people who literally allowed events to control them. It is almost as if they were drunk. Their feet had no special way of going from point A to point B.

Elections in the United States have millions who follow in this way. If one candidate makes statements, then such is believed by some voters.  The thought process is never considered – whether the truth is told or what is intended by that kind of remark.

Jesus had the rare ability to see through the words often scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees. The intended purpose could be observed. The plan was to kill the truthful man.

We must think to ourselves what is the contrived idea behind the remarks or actions? In short what is that about? In the last 12 months we have been subjected to evil “false news”.

Their plan was to destroy Donald Trump.

From what this author has read The New York Times, The Washington Paper, and CNN were determined to lie for Hillary Clinton. It was so obvious the people saw through their plan. Some plans are to say nothing:

Turn your head about the dope next door,
• Accept theft by Medicare,
• Never criticize any religious leader,
• Steal time from employer.

Paul was adamant about how to listen to the Son of God. Jesus Christ was told to us by Paul that they and we are not obligated to give into following the very strict and shackling of all the rules of the Mosaic statements. It appears this was to be true as to the ceremonial grounds how to live. This is very straight forward as written in Galatians 5:1-3.

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath
made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke
of bondage.
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised,
Christ shall profit you nothing.
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that
he is a debtor to do the whole law.”

The sign of a Jewish make was the cutting of the foreskin. In the early church this was a serious and contentious argument. This letter to the Galatians stopped he argument.

There are some people who desire contention among the brethren and the body of Christ – the Church.

As Christians we should be willing to listen to different thoughts but then decide issues based upon the Bible. Tell a church member this! What does scripture say to this issue?

The position that once was there – changed. What the Jew thought was the way once pleased Jehovah God was through words. Then Paul told the brethren was yes words are important but nor it was the acceptance of Jesus Christ through grace. He said that certain acts had little or no effect upon God’s approval. Since the church had so Jews not only in numbers but also in influence. Paul then made the attack. He stated circumcision possessed no power nor was it the sign of approval from God. Galatians 5:4-6, so states.

“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of
you are justified by the law: ye are fallen from grace.
For we through the spirit wait for the hope of
righteousness by faith.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any
thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.”

The churches of today all have some entrance signal. The most noticeable is the Roman Catholic entrance. Then there are the Calvinist who vote you into their organization. These are but two examples of additional requirements.

Paul states we have been granted Liberty therefore only adhere to the silly obnoxious regulations of some church hierarchy. Galatians 5:7, 10, 13-14,  proclaims this fact.

“Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should
not obey the truth?
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye
will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth
you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only
use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love
serve one another.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this;
thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself.”
There are those of us who state where the Bible speaks, we speak, where the Bible is silent we are silent but in all things love. Paul never lost sight of this concept. This training has never been received except among the few.

All groups have their own statements. This includes all of the main-line groups. That is Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, and what is left of the Disciples of Christ since the death rattles has begun with them.

It is a fundamental fact that humans are going to fuss, fight, and accuse each other to the point of constant destruction.

Now Paul accepted this fact. He knew and understood this basic truth. he brought this up in Galatians 5:15-18.

“But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed
that ye be not consumed one of another.
This I say then, walk in the spirit, and ye shall not
fulfill the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the spirit, and the
spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the
one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things
that ye would.
But if ye be led of the spirit, ye are not under the law.”

Paul knew who he was dealing with. He knew there was a ragging battle between the flesh and the spirit. When this happens men can lose their eternal soul.

All one should do is turn on the sick networks on the television. There is the yelling, screaming and incomprehensible discussion of supposed experts. The Democrats and infidel progressives have taken this to a new art form. This is the basic reason why Donald Trump won and the other candidate lost. Then, you can combine this with that liar Obama. Did you notice the Evangelists’ voted heavily for Trump?

Incidentally it was not a Republican victory, but a People’s Revolt.

People know when they smell corruption. The world has been sickened by globalism run by the cheap Politician who would perform any act if it meant additional power for them. Christians should always beware of those who are in positions of power.

In Galatians 5:19-21, Paul starts by saying these are sins. The list is long. Read it with an open mind.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which
are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,
wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,envyings, murders,
drunkenness, revellings, and
such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have
also told you in time past, that they which do such
things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

There was an article in the local newspaper by a local city minister who serves a protestant church that said we should have certain values. The question then arises.

Where do find what the values are?
• Who set the values?
• When were the values stated?
• What are the values?
• Why are the values still usable?
Unless these questions are asked and answered then the writing is a sound of a symbol or a drum. This is generally the writings of either the uneducated or liberals (progressives).

Paul said these sins will send one to hell. My suggestion is to read Galatians 5:19-21, again.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which
are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,
wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and
such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have
also told you in time past, that they which do such
things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

One will hear Galatians 5:22-24, as being the Gospel. It is it the Gospel it is the fruit of the Gospel.

“But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance: against such there is
no law.”

“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the
flesh with the affections and lusts.”

The Gospel is the death, buried, and the Resurrection of Jesus and the implications thereof. See:

I Corinthians 15:1-4, to read.

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the
Gospel which I preached unto you, which also
ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory
what I preached unto you, unless ye have
believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all which I also
received, how that Christ died for our sins
according to the scriptures;
and that he was buried, and that he rose again
the third day according to the scriptures:”

Once we have accepted the Gospel then our task is to follow Galatians 5:24-25.

“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the
flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the spirit, let us also walk
in the spirit.”

Our task is to keep close – the idea of evangelizing and a purified life.

All to Jesus I surrender;
all to him I freely give;

I will ever love and trust him,
in his presence daily live.

I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;
humbly at his feet I bow,
worldly pleasures all forsaken;
take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus I surrender;
make me, Savior, wholly thine;
fill me with thy love and power;
truly know that thou art mine.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to thee;
fill me with thy love and power;
let thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender;
now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to his name!
