Future California Earthquake

Four Prophecies Fulfilled

“In Ra’ma was there a voice heard, lamentation, and
weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her
children, and would not be comforted, because they
are not.”  Matthew 2:18.

“Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ra’mah,
lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her
children refused to be comforted for her children,
because they were not.” Jeremiah 31:15.

There was a time when people were disgruntled in the United States against the political establishment. Now the theme has opened up and the citizens are calling the political leaders liars and corrupt. They are persons who do not want to hear the truth when their actions are set forth openly. The corruption of the Democrats and Republicans is so well known, seen, and observed that the political officials are held in utter contempt.

This same perverse mental state existed at the time of the birth of Jesus Christ. Rome ruled. Yes. Religious leaders were held in contempt! The common people wanted a change in the social environment.

In order to carry on the building programs and maintain the armies, a tax on the empire had to be levied. This is the reason Joseph and Mary were in Bethlehem, Judea. After the birth of Jesus, a strange event happened. The only explanation why it happened in God was to fulfill prophecies made hundreds of years before the happening. It is impossible for me and you also to tell what will happen tomorrow, next week, or the following month.

The second chapter of Matthew states the fulfillment of circumstances. However, this I do know: allowing the riots to continue in California or any other state is an act that must be met with violent force. California has, in recent years, been a place that has been unable for alternative views to be discussed in the public square.

An earthquake might be a solution to the crazies that populate California. There must be a Blood Cleansing!

Jerusalem was a capital city for various reasons. This is a partial list as to why the wise men went to Jerusalem to seek the Unknown Man.

There was a Roman garrison in the city limits.
• The temple was there.
• The Jewish leaders taught in the temple the law of Moses.
• The city was a commercial crossroad.

From what we know these men (and it is assumed they were men) sought an audience with Herod the king. Yes, peace was in the area –  yet people were distraught. This announcement was upsetting to the leadership. Matthew 2:1-3, so states this:

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the
days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from
the East to Jerusalem,
saying, where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we
have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship him.
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was
troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.”

Evidentally, Herod saw this inquiry as attempt to remove him from the seat of political power.

There is no way we can even understand what the “His star” was. So many questions could be raise that could not be answered. We can only state there was some sort of celestial configuration that was quickly seen by the Magi. In my reading of various scholars, no one can give the proof what this was.

Again another proof of the truth of the Holy Scripture is laid out for us to read and believe. Herod was not knowledgeable of the Holy Word. He had to ask where the place of birth was to be. Herod called the learned men to ask them certain questions. Here is where Matthew 2:4-5 sets out the facts.

“And when he had gathered all the chief priest and
scribes of the people together, he demanded of them
where Christ should be born.
And they said unto him, in Bethlehem of Judea: for
thus it is written by the prophet.”

My daughter recently read to me a remark from D.H. Moody that is summarized as follows:

“One in a hundred Christian reads the Bible, the other ninety-nine are read by others.”

The lack of knowledge of Christians as to the Holy Scripture is so appalling that one then knows why the church is in such a declining position.

Recently a Sunday School teacher said she did not know where the ten commandments was found. Do you know? If not, then I suggest that you read Exodus 20. The ten commandments are what we most Christians will not follow because some Christians like to change the wording to suite their lifestyle. Here is one example: “Thou shall not steal except by majority vote.”

So they – as successful politicians must learn to lie. Then do it again, and again, so that the ignorant believe the lie to be the truth.

History tells us that Herod destroyed anyone he believed might rise up against him. He killed his wife, Mariamne, then he had murdered his own mother Aleranda. There was also a question what happened to his own three sons Antipater, Aristobulus, and Alexander. From what we know of other leaders; he was no worse and no better than other rulers.

The 20th Century was no better than these ancients:

Stalin – murdered 50,000,000.
• Hitler – went to war and 30,00,000 were killed.
• Mao – murdered 60,000,000.
• U.S. Presidents – Vietnam 57,000 killed.
• U.S. Presidents – Iraq, Middle East at least 10,000,000.
• Detroit, Chicago – figures not known.

Herod was a liar – who wanted to destroy all who opposed him.

So now we know this, his words were lies. War and lies go hand in hand – they did back then & they do now.

Those who read history and observe current events know for a fact what will happen. Here again the heavenly light showed these men to go to Bethlehem to see the New Being.

In Matthew 2:7-9, the Magi left Jerusalem to go to Bethlehem. This series of events happened a long time after the birth of Jesus so it could have been months later.

“Then Herod, when he has privily called the wise men,
inquired of the, diligently what time the star appeared.
And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, go and search
diligently for the young child; and when ye have found
him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship
him also.”

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo,
the star, which they saw in the east, went before them,
till it came and stood over where the young child was.”

Here again a dream was used to inform the person to take some action.

A dream was used to tell Joseph to leave for Egypt at once. Christ first had to go to Egypt. The why and wherefore to bring about the prophecy is found in Matthew 2:13-15.

“And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the
Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, arise, and
take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt,
and be there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek
the young child to destroy him.

When he arose, he took the young child and his mother
by night and departed into Egypt:
And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
out of Egypt have I called my son.”

This literally took place. Christ came from Egypt.

This prophecy is the one that brings sadness when we considered what happened. It was Jeremiah 31:16-17 that told what would take place about eight miles north of Jerusalem in a place called Rama. Jacob’s wife Rachel is buried there.

Evidently in a rage, Herod the butcher, killed ALL male children under two years of age. This is the prophecy of Jeremiah 31:16-17.

“Thus saith the Lord; refrain thy voice from weeping,
and thine eyes from tears; for thy work shall be
rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again
from the land of the enemy.

And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that
thy children shall come again to their own border.”
Then we are instructed what happened in Matthew 2:16-19:

“Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the
wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and
slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all
the coast thereof, from two years old and under,
according to the time which he had diligently inquired
of the wise men.

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy
the prophet, saying,
In Ra’ma was there a voice heard, lamentation, and
weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her
children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord
appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt.”

In our age evil men still exist. The muslims hate that we are Christians and they are killing the Christians!

Based on his conduct, the man who occupies 1600 Pennsylvania is either a muslim or is a man who leans toward that religion. He will not take action quickly against these evil people. The sooner he leaves the residence – the better it will be for we Christians. We should pray to God for his quick departure, so he will do less harm to the citizens of the United States. If they had it their way, the muslims would kill all we Christians.
We wonder what kind of a leader Hillary Clinton would make? Hopefully, she won’t have the same attitude.

The name of our birth and youth are important. In Isaiah 11:1, a remark is made about this important person who was arrived in the history of Israel. In this passage it states he was to have a special name:

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of
Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:”

Yet the passage refers to the branch, but this we know the root meaning of Nazareth comes from the root meaning of sprout or branch. The name of those who come from Nazareth were Nazarene’s. The educated and scholars looked down on anyone who from Galilee and Nazareth was a part of Galilee. When Joseph heard Herod was dead, he returned to his home land.

This is what Matthew 2:22-23, tells us:

“But when he heard that Ar-chela’us did reign in Judea
in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go
thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a
dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that
it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets,
he shall be called a Nazarene.”

Jesus was one of us. He was a literal outcast. Nazareth did not want him. This is what Luke 4:28-30 tells us. The Galileen/Jews believed the Jerusalem/Jews were SUPERIOR Jews. Galilee was a place of half breeds and Gentiles.

This is why we are the scourge of the earth. However, God through the New Testament says we also are his children even though we are not Jews.

There were four prophecies fulfilled in this chapter.:

Bethlehem was Christ’s birth place.
• Christ would come out of Egypt.
• Waiting in Rama
• Christ would be called from Nazareth – Nazarene.

What a marvelous story!

Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,
through every day, o’er all the way;
he will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
when dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.

All you may need he will provide,
God will take care of you;
nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.

No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
lean, weary one, upon his breast,
God will take care of you.
