It Has A Name – Hypocrisy

“THEREFORE thou art inexcusable, O man,
whosoever thou are judgest; for wherein thou
judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for
thou that judgest doest the same things.”    Romans 2:1.

The world that we live in is filled with double-dealing. It is common rather than uncommon in the human race. There is no tribe or race where this does not exist.

These situations arise that clearly point out how false men act toward others and of course in the dealings with God. This all must be taken into account in all phases of life. War itself is an act of deception.

As a Christian, we should realize that when the truth is told that it comes in an unexpected way. The world hardly knows what it can do. We are very used to listening to the lies of leaders in government. The rule should be that if it is wrong to lie to each other then it is wrong for the government to lie to us.

The Iraq war was started on a false precept. President George Bush said that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. As of now, nothing has ever been shown that he did except the poison gas that was transferred to the dictator when he as battling the men from Iran.

In the Old Testament the word  “Covenant” was used. This was to illustrate an agreement where the terms were set out. It was simple. It was direct. Both sides understood the terms.

In Genesis 34:28, a covenant was set out. It was a benefit the Lord gave to these Jews.

“They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which
was in the city, and that which was in the field.”

One characteristic of God is that He does not look with favor on a hypocrite.

The church in certain denominations teaches eternal grace for a believer. This is a lie. There is one group who espouses this doctrine. There are churches that blab this over and over. It has been given the name: Eternal Security of the Saints. This precept is set out for one purpose that is to soothe the conscience of men. Those that teach this are hypocrites.

Paul wrote about this in II Thessalonians 2:3

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except
there come a falling away first, and that man of the sin be revealed, the son of

Technically you are not saved until death comes. In the book of Revelation 2:10 the church of Smyrna was told that it was the responsibility of Christians to remain faithful at all times:

“Fear none of those things which thou shall suffer: behold, the devil shall
cast some of you into prison; that ye may be tried; and ye shall have
tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a
crown of life.”

It is the height of a lie, this hypocrisy for someone to claim eternal security of the saints no matter what they do.

In the every day activity of the United States executive branch and legislative branch there is a portrait of moral law. The preaching of right and wrong.

The CIA has a history of blood letting.

William Blum

There is attached to the back page a list  where the executive branch has to kill or dispose of leadership of other nations. This was prepared by William Blum  and was taken from his website. It was published in the blog of Lew Rockwell  February 26, 2015.

This merely shows that hypocrisy is a part of our make up.

The next group in the Senate and House of Representatives that sits in Washington, D. C. This group as a whole is laughable. What is said on the campaign trail is seldom followed on arriving in Washington, D. C. The Republicans and Democrats are the same: campaign one way when elected another.

The various denominations teach certain doctrines which are false regardless how the words are spoken.

The Methodist, Presbyterian and Episcopal groups know that the word in the Scripture for baptism means immersion. This is only one example.

The Roman Catholic Church knows the tri-head of the Scripture is not God, Christ and the Church. It is God, Christ and the Holy Ghost.

Alas, Christians are surrounded by people who talk the purity of the New Testament; but have refused to follow the statements therein. The basic result will be to send people to hell. It would be possible to go through other areas but the point is obvious. Hypocrisy is rampant.

One fault that people fall for is the propaganda put out by those in power. From the view of an observer we are so susceptible to what certain groups are promulgating. When the television spews out its garbage and the movies embrace it then the people will adapt it.

The ministry of Jesus was built on the person acting upon the instructions of the Son of God. He rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey within two or three days not one person stood up for the Son of God. Pilate called out what to do with Jesus. John 19: 12,15:

“And from henceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out,
saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend: whosoever
maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.”
“But they cried out, Away with him, crucify him. Pilate said saith unto them:
Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but

Are you any different? You should understand that people do not want to hear there are five steps to become a Christian. Here they are:

1. Somehow the Gospel must be communicated to you

2. You must believe it

3. You must confess Christ

4. You must repent of sin in your life and

5. Then immersion must follow

The last two are important. It is unless 4 and 5 that are removed as necessary from the gospel. Our culture finds repentance repugnant. Then immersion has no meaning. There is a hunger for spiritual revival in this nation. It can be observed not just in a religious setting but in politics, economics and education.

Here are some examples of the changing and thirst for institutions.

Notice that the main stream churches are losing members. It is the fundamentalist that are growing.

In government such groups as the liberation must be explored by more and more citizens. The Tea Party has had an impact on those in Washington, D. C.

The theft which is being played out each day in the economic field makes a person cringe. When the Federal Reserve does not want an audit this makes people wonder about its honesty.

The education of the young is being questioned. People are distrusting of the public schools. If it were not for taxes being assessed – then more people would opt out.

The individual is what Jesus discussed. The example of this is when the Messiah talked with the Samaritan woman at the well. It was not a group exchange   …   John 4: 7,13,15 tells us of the encounter.

“There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, give
me to drink.”
“Jesus answered and saith unto her, Whatsoever drinketh of this water shall
thirst again.”
“The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither
come hither to draw.”

The early church was about single persons. Names are given Paul when his writing was penned to the various churches but he discussed what people should do. In I Corinthians 7:5 is one example.

“Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye
may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that
Satan tempt you not for you incontinency.”

As a person, stand up.

“Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Thro’ eternal ages let His praises ring;
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God!
“Standing on the promises I cannot fail,
Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call,
Resting in my Savior, as my all in all.
Standing on the promises of God.”
