It Is About Christianity

“Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth
forth fruit unto himself: according
to the multitude of his fruit he hath
increased the altars, according to the
goodness of his land they have made
goodly images.”        Hosea 10:1.

When we look at our times and the times of the prophets it is striking how similar we are to them. Those men of a bygone era were deeply concerned with the social order of their day. We should look and see as they too faced social order, enemies without their nation as well as the shallowness of the worship of the Lord God.

The trouble then as it is now the citizens were confused. The nation of Israel sought help from the wrong people. Their supposed allies would turn on them like a snake. Forget that you can make your enemy into a friend.  An example is that the muslims are not friends of the United States.

Those that study people know to conquer a nation one must cause the moral rot to set in.

In 1920, a British tank expert, General J.F.C. Fuller wrote a book called, “Tanks in the Great War” which he stated:

“For mechanical and chemical weapons may disappear and be replaced by
by others more terrible. This method of imposing the will of one man on
another may in turn be replaced by purely psychological warfare wherein
weapons are not even used or battlefields sought or loss of life and limb
aimed at. But in its place the corruption of human reason, the dimming of
the human intellect and the disintegration of the moral and spiritual life
of one nation by the law the influence of the will of another is accomplished.”

What he wrote is a well-stated fact. The sole purpose is to undermine, crush, break down resistance and cover destruct of the fundamentals of the nation. This is the threat we face today. It is the same now as it was to the prophets. This is a tremendous threat today as it was in the time of Hosea.

What the social gospel is – is the replacement of men over the worship of God. We see this in many shapes and forms in our lives. Here are some glaring examples of this type of supposed doing good to be found, clothing, medical care and rehabilitation, all given to people and it is not explained to people that all of this was possible because of capitalism which started when people saw that God’s way produces wealth. The center must be God’s laws. If God is not taught then men take the glory and credit. Then evil will rot a society.

The social gospel is seen when food, clothing and medical treatment are supposedly given by men to other men. This causes the giver and the recipient to be greedy and corrupt.

This is the basic problem with grants from the various government agencies.

Hosea 10:1 referred to Israel as an empty vine. Here is what was said:

“Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according
to the multitude of his fruit he had increased the altars; according to the
goodness of his land they have made goodly images.”

What we know now is that the worship of God was worthless. From Hosea 10:2 it gives some insight as he stated that the altars were worthless. They had made images which were worthless. Hosea 10:2 gives some insight to the creation of small and large creations for worshipping.

“Their heart is divided now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down
their altars, he shall spoil their images.”

When God is removed then the value of all becomes less and less. Have you heard someone say that items are not made like they once were? Another comment is that people do not want to work like they once did decades ago. Now it must be no more than forty (40) hours. All of this comes from the rot within.

Personally, it is sadly human; when there are all of these churches where the auditoriums are not filled 50 Sundays a year  –  but are only filled 2 Sundays a year.

Governments want more and more control. Governments want a cashless society. This is quickly happening. Let me give some examples.

• Credit cards are used by all. No cash exchanged,
• Checks are replacing cash, No cash exchanged.
• Digital deposits of salaries, No cash exchanged.
• Elimination of $500 bills, $2 bills, $1 dollar coins, 50-cent coins.

I believe the next step will be to eliminate $100 and $50 bills.

The Money is not supported by gold or silver.

All of this only tells that the value system for the United States is gone. This is what Hosea 10:4 states:

“They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus
judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.”

The covenant with God and man is no more. Man talks God but that is it. The depth is no more. There was a name mentioned in this text Beth-aven. The meaning of the word is idolatry. When the word Samaran was used it was a region in the Northern Kingdom.

When the laws of God are related then a nation is torn asunder. It looses its national identity. Hosea 10: 6 states it clearly. People would be taken to Assyria the physical enemy. The State of Ephraim will be ashamed for its actions.

“It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb Ephraim shall
receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.”

We have flirted with evil people who are killers it makes no sense. One group we support such as the Saudis. Another group we want to make war such as the Iranians are muslims. Some in the Western world believe this is a legitimate idea. What is not understood is that this is a religion war. Frankly oil is not the core problem.

The citizens of Israel and Samaria saw no need to obey the tenets set out in Genesis through Deuteronomy.

In the text the name of Gibeah is mentioned. Generally it means a hill but the reference is a battle which Israel was defeated. Hosea 10:9 tells of this event.

“O Israel, thou has sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood:
the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.”

In a descriptive way Hosea 10:10-11 tells what will happen:

“It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be
gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows”
“And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn;
but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall
plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.”

Leadership is so important. Without people who can stand upon God’s word the results are never favorable to us. It was not because of the military that we lost:

• Viet Nam
• Iraq
• Afghanistan
• Influx of muslims in the United States – yes this is a war also.

The reading of this blog should not be depressive. Also it is not a “how to book” but to the contrary it is a means to explain what is happening around us. The next attempt is to state the method to rid ourselves from the situation then a positive step to better ourselves. This encourages the reader to think and then to act out what to do. Will this happen? No!

This blog is an expose of our time in the way that Hosea spoke and probably wrote his message of concern. He told the truth. One should never forget or deny the Pareto Rule. Sometime this is referred to as the 80-20 rule. Why it works there is no intelligent reason but it does. It works though.

As a person here are some basic rules that you may consider:

Do not give money to a church that preaches the Social Gospel.
• Find a group/individuals who only teach the Gospel.
• Seek out people who support evangelism of the world.
• Pay no attention to the silliness of get rich talk of TV preachers (Hucksters).
• Read the Bible daily to know God’s message for you.
• Use the concept of prayer and fasting.
• Stay away from groups/churches who do not condemn muslims.

The instruction was set out by Hosea 10:12. This is true today also:

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow
ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness
upon you.”

One should never put your faith in the words, acts or laws of any man. This is the remark of Hosea 10:13.

“Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; he have eaten the
fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy
mighty men.”

As Christians we must never become so depressed that hope has been lost. Righteousness will triumph. We must never be discouraged to the point of despair. Jesus gave is eternity by His death, burial and resurrection from the grave. The muslims will not win. The corrupt will not win. The evil of this world will not win. Yes the moral rot is all around us. Yet, I am persuaded Christ will have victory.

It never matters what we think about a subject. Always the same rule applies. It is what is. The modern version of the truth is this is what I believe thus truth is from the view-point of my belief on the subject.

In the physical world gravity is the only universal force. This force affects light, time and a basic level of all physical matter. The same concepts are the universal teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.   Christ is the Messiah.

There is no exception to the fact Jesus Christ is the solution from God.

“Stand up, stand for Jesus! Ye soldiers of the cross;
Lift high His royal banner, It must not suffer loss:
From victory unto victory His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished And Christ is Lord indeed.”
“Stand up, stand up for Jesus! The strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle, The next the victor’s song:
To him that over-cometh, a crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory Shall rein eternally.”
