“For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come.”
“Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38-39

Christians have a difficult mind set. Many people who claim they are believers can not bring themselves to the mental condition that each is in a battle for the mind and soul of not only themselves but for all other people. War is a constant factor in all of our lives.

This time in history might be termed the “modern times”. Supposedly we are different than our ancestors. Our generic makeup is the same today as it was in the past. We are in all aspects a people who enjoy fighting. Nation against nation. Group against group.
Religion against religion. Race against race. Person against person. It seems as if there was enjoyment in brutality.

History can be a great teacher of studies if examined carefully. It is for this reason when we view the 20th century as a whole, one can only say this was the most brutal time that has existed. Wars, battles and conflicts were a theme that was undeniable.

There arose in the 20th century a group of social solutions that produce nothing but wars. The names of these are Communism, Nazism, Fascism and Socialism. All of these had four elements which are well known. Here are these elements:

1. Mass control
2. Machines of war
3. Mobsters in control
4. Master plans

The combination of these liberty-destroying groups were wars – unfortunately we still live within the framework of these four “isms”.

There is only one way out of these isms. It is Jesus Christ. The answer to each of these isms is found in God’s word. When an examination of these from the view of Scripture then one can see the determent the human race has suffered.

In the last one hundred years Protestants and Roman Catholics have funded their own demise as a group. The main line groups have been funding, promoting and preaching their own subversion. The following are some means this was done.

· Jesus did not arise from the dead
· The Bible is full of mistakes
· There are myths in the Bible
· Virgin birth was a fraud
· Jesus was not divine
· Churches are milking stations for the organization
·Only college professors can explain Salvation

Every one of these are lies. Every one of these are calculated to destroy the truth of God’s Holy Word.

Never expect any politicians to stand up for truth and righteousness. In the event he or she does then there will be scoffing, denying, hiding and explaining the falsehoods. In the United States the church is torn apart.

There is before the Supreme Court at this time the Hobby Lobby case. The issue is whether a corporation can show Christian value. Can the United States force corporations to accept abortion? This is a type of war. The executive branch can use force to have its way. These people have the guns and certainly will not hesitate to use these against its Christian citizens.

As a matter of fact why does the Federal Government allow the citizens of Colorado to break the Federal law? Would you call this as selective law enforcement? We are not to be respective in judgment. See Proverbs 28:21

“To have respect of persons is not good: but for a piece of bread that man
will transgress.”

When facing an enemy there must be a plan for victory as well as a plan for defeat of the enemy. Any other scheme is utter foolishness.

Look around you and one can see the gathering storm. The evidence is around us.

One should start examining what the public schools are teaching. The mathematic scores are low as compared to other countries. Recently, I was asking a first grade teacher if the parents participated with their children. Her reply was this, “No. What the parents do is bring them to school and then pick them up.” The system always wants more dollars for greater salaries for administrators and new programs. The systems are a failure.

Christians should speak and demand a higher quality of education. The body of churches in a community can make their collective voice be heard. Stop allowing atheist, agnostics and homosexuals tell us we must obey them.

Church leaders and few Christians will stand.

Another boiling point is how people treat each other. It is common in our society to not speak out. We are afraid.

The following is a list of grievances that show a disregard for other humans.

· Road rage
· Bumping people with grocery cart
· Calling people names which are derogatory
· Speeding in school zones
· Running a stop sign or light
· Spreading rumors
· Insulting people
· Demanding privileges not earned
· Not listening to ills of others

What I have listed are small matters but have a tendency to balloon out. One can never tell which one you see was started small.

The seeds of WWII were laid at the end of WWI. It was how the British and French treated Germany in the Treaty of Versailles. Germany was made to sign this.

In life as a Christian I must be careful how I respond to world aggression. However I will not be a doormat for anyone or any isms or any group.

There is not perfect place to live this side of heaven. The word Utopia was invented by Thomas More. The meaning of the word is “no place”. More wrote the book Utopia in 1516, which describes a place where there are no contradictions.

If men followed Gods plan given by His Son Jesus Christ then there would be a Utopia. Will this happen. No.

The Christians duty has all ready been set for us. Matthew 6:33-34 gives us what we are to do.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.”
“Take therefore no though for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought
for the things of itself, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

The kingdom of God will never be on this earth until Christ comes to take His own. Men trying but will fail. There is always some silly reform movement just on the horizon that will be the solution to the upheaval going on. Always there is a break down.

The reason is found in Romans 2:1

“Therefore, thou are inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou are that judgest:
for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that
judgest doest the same things.”

Then Romans 1:21-23 tells who we really are and how we act

“Because that, whey they knew God, they glorified him not as God,
neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and
their foolish heart was darkened.”
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”
“And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image
made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts,
and creeping things.”

People often do not want to be a part of some solutions. The writer of the blog , a lawyer, who at one time handled many criminal cases. Several of these cases were murder cases. Some were in the black community. On one such murder case I could not find any witness to put up a defense. I finally was amazed how many people had been in the restroom when the murder was outside. It reminded me of the circus trick when 10 or 11 clowns came out of a small car.

Christians are like that since no one wants to become involved. When speaking up for Christ there will be a price. You have not helped the church or yourself by remaining silent. It makes a fearful person who in return has no reward in the future.

Admittedly there is almost nothing you can do on state level and national level but you speak out about local and individual.

Your author is a strong believer in the Pareto Rule of 80/20. That is 80% of the people will do nothing 20% of the people may think about it and 20% of them will act. There is no reason why you should hold back.

There are people who will be believers. We are the remnant and God expects us to act for Him.

The real issue is whether you are willing to die for Jesus Christ.

Through out the ages men and women have set in motion the paths of death. Face it!
The world hates us with a passion. Let them die for their heathen ways. We will stand like prophets, priests and teacher of the past. Paul to the Galatians said what to do in 5:1

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free,
and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

“Would you be free from your burden of sin,
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win:
Would you do service for Jesus your King?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood
Would you live daily, His praises to sing?”
