A Few Good Men

No Coexistence

“And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling
of the dream, and the interpretation thereof,
that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel,
and said, Arise; for the Lord hath delivered
into your hand the host of Midian”.  Judges 7:15.

There has been warning after warning that evil and righteousness can never coexist. This has been tried for centuries when in the final analysis evil became the winner while righteousness eventually loses its power morally and emotionally. The two simply cannot exist. Evil has one and only one intent and that is God’s way must be destroyed.

Battle Noise

This is what happened in ancient Israel. The entire book of Judges is about this struggle. Israel had sunk to the lowest depths. The worship of Baal was over powering. The law of Moses was soon to tank. God saw to it that prophets came upon the scene and each began to speak out for God. As I have written before there were two reasons that God wanted to preserve the 12 tribes.

First, Israel was the chosen people. Second, it was through the Jews that the Messiah was produced. He is the Savior for all mankind.  It is true. Strange people were chosen to preserve these people. The family of Gideon was divided. Some were worshiping Baal. While others followed the word of God. They were literally a house divided; which, cannot exist for long. Israel needed a unity of purpose.

Right now, the man who occupies the White House –  if he is not a Marxist, then he is a muslim- leaning socialist.  He appears to have divided the United States for the sole express purpose of fostering blacks against whites.

From hearing this speech one can easily come to the conclusion that Obama, (if that is his real name), hates and despises the United States Constitution. He has held the religious people in utter contempt. Look at this man’s record:

• A Liar,
• A promoter of our longest war,
• A man who does not enforce our laws,
• A supporter of crooked Hillary,
• A man who seldom goes to any church,
• A man who refused to strike the perpetuators of Benghazi,
• A man who will not condemn the muslim, and
• A man who seemingly hates law enforcement.

This man is on the side of the ungodly. Remember that the title of this lesson is, “No Coexistence”.

This is not an attempt to side with anyone politically – but it is my attempt to show how evil has taken over this generation. There must be a Divine Plan for God to allow this culture to continue to exist. Our basic problem that is no Gideon has come forth.
Several Sundays ago I was asked to teach an adult Sunday school class.

  1. Out of 15 or so adults – only three of us had a Bible.
  2. No Bible could be found. However, after 5 minutes two were acquired from someplace.
  3. I asked them to find the book of Jonah to illustrate that God did attempt to persuade Gentiles to follow the Lord God.
  4. These Christians could not find the book of Jonah. The entire experience was sad and pitiful. This happened in a Disciples of Christ Church.

* I have nicknamed this place as the “Bible-less Church”.

Then people wonder why this nation has no moral compass. When a person tries to explain this to the average person he or she is looked at as if the speaker is mentally off balance. The Disciples of Christ is not the only group who cannot tell right from wrong.

There is a group of people who have every intention of destroying all Christians. Yet the present occupant of the White House and his Underling’s want to bring these people into our nation. These people who are known to be rapist, murderers, molesters, and child molesters.

These people hate we Christians. Do you remember that when 9/11 occurred – not one single muslim condemned this act of terror? In fact, the Saudis were quickly removed from our shores. Why? All of this can be found at the doorstep of George W. Bush.

We PATRIOTS cannot understand – why we won’t stand up to the infidels?

When history is read these people’s hands drip with blood. There are so many reports and comments by these demons under the guise of a religious act that no one can honestly deny them. We can never coexist with these sons and daughters of Satan.

For centuries, the muslim demons have declared Jihad against all people who are not muslims – especially we of the west. In recent years, these people through their Imam (preachers) try their best to keep trouble brewing where ever possible. The very beginning of this tyrannical group the rule has been that you must accept Muhammad or the sword will bring an end to you.

It is a sure thing war will come when these people are brought into the West.

The liberals think by giving into this satanic way that there will be peace, this is a lie brought about by people who either have not read history or do not want to have peace. My hope is that our leader will rise up and destroy purge and obliterate this mean spirited group of infidels who have no God soul and accept Satan.

Along with a servant of Gideon at night the two of them came close to the camp of the Midianties. It was at this time they heard the two Midianites discussing a dream these two had heard. The interpretation of this was Gideon was to win in the battle to be fought. Most engagements in that day and time came about in daylight. Not so – as we are told by the writer of Judges 7:15.

“And it was so, when Gideon heard them telling
of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that
he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel,
and said, Arise; for the Lord hath delivered into
your hand the host of Midian.”

There was to be a surprise element by the forces of God. Each was to have a torch, one empty pot, and a trumpet that would be blown. The number of men was just the 300. The trumpet and pot were for sound while the torch made it appear these were more men than actually were present. It brought confusion in the camp of the Midianites. This was planned from the start. It worked. Judges 2:16-18, tells us what happened when the battle was underway.

“And he divided the three hundred men into three
companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand,
with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
And he said unto them, look on me, and do likewise.
And, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp,
It shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me,
then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all of
the camp, and say, the sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.”

The slaughter of the enemies of God began. The sword of the Lord and of Gideon was used present. The enemies of Israel were destroyed because Holy Scripture informs us that other tribes very quickly joined in the killing of the infidels. This is set out in Judges 7:19-23.

“So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him,
came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of
the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch:
and they blew the trumpets, and break the pitchers that
were in their hands.

And three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the
pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the
trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they
cried, the sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.

And they stood every man in his place round about the
camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.
And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the lord
set every man’s sword against his fellow, even
throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah
in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto
And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out
of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.”

The call for the killing was made; and the policy which had to be posted was the watering places. Gideon knew this had to be done at once according to Judges 7:2.

“And Gideon sent out messengers throughout all
mount Ephraim, saying, come down against the
Midianites, and take before them the waters unto
Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim
gathered themselves together, and took the waters
unto Bethbarah and Jordan.”

The leader had to be killed also so no mercy was to be allowed. Their names are for us to read in Judges 7:25.  They were Oreb and Zeeb.

“And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb
and Zeeb: and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb,
and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, an
pursued Midianand brought the heads of Oreb an
Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.”

This chapter teaches us the lesson that God will not allow good and evil to stand together.

It should be understood that evil and righteousness can never coexist. One or the other will be defeated. It seems most often God’s people are hunted back.

For righteousness to claim victory there must be a Gideon to step forward with a sword. In our generation it will happen. God will not be without a person who will defeat the infidels.

Part of our duty is to take arms to slaughter all of our enemies; otherwise we lose our right to exist. This means their leaders are to be removed quickly and without any mercy. This goes against some beliefs of the liberals and the progressives.

Remember, God told Gideon to kill the evil Midianites.

Am I a soldier of the cross,
A follower of the Lamb,
And shall I fear to own His cause,
Or blush to speak His Name?

Must I be carried to the skies
On flowery beds of ease,
While others fought to win the prize,
And sailed through bloody seas?

Are there no foes for me to face?
Must I not stem the flood?
Is this vile world a friend to grace,
To help me on to God?

Sure I must fight if I would reign;
Increase my courage, Lord.
I’ll bear the toil, endure the pain,
Supported by Thy Word.

Thy saints in all this glorious war
Shall conquer, though they die;
They see the triumph from afar,
By faith’s discerning eye.

When that illustrious day shall rise,
And all Thy armies shine
In robes of victory through the skies,
The glory shall be Thane.
