Seek the Truth

“Beware of false prophets,
Which come to you in sheep’s clothing,
But inwardly
They are ravening wolves.”
Matthew 7:15.

There is one reason for education that every person should realize, because it is fundamental to the well being of our Constitutional Republic. It should be obvious to anyone who can think and reason. The idea must be ingrained with the pupil as he or she studies nature and society. It is lacking in lower education and yes, even higher education.

The word is not used in private communication and not those that teach higher education. Most of the time we do not like the true meaning of the word as it can be very distasteful to the everyday person. When Jesus used the word, those who heard it only wanted to silence the Son of God or use the power of the state to kill him. They did kill him! Jesus spoke about it on various occasions. Luke 9:27, lays this out for us.

“But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Kingdom of God.”

Jesus talked with the woman of Samaria and in John 4:23, 24, raised the issue.

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

We as believers must always look for, seek, and dig out the truth. In the beginning of this blog, there was an issue raised that is not raised in learning circles today. The purpose of education is know the truth.

Once there was a man who asked what truth was. Here are his words in John 18:38.

“Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?
And when he had said this, he went out Unto the Jews,
And saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.”

When Jesus raised the issue in John 18:37.

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Ever one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

Certain facts are not pleasant to us humans. One fact that is troubling to people.

When we speak about what the truth is, then this causes mental trouble in the spirit and the mind of the listener.

This is the purpose of this blog. We should seek the truth. Pure education is founded upon this fact alone. Here are some comments about our modern society:

  • Why do you need a new car every 3 or 4 years?
  • Why do women have large handbags when a much smaller one would do?
  • Why do so many people have cell phones when they are harmful to your health? and
  • Why do some men have pick ups – as a status symbol?

Listed above are the life styles that have been seen in our everyday life.

The denominations can be secular about the truth also. Here are some remarks that can be garnered when we see the actions of many denominations:

  • Why do churches sprinkle infants when the commandment of immersion is all that is set forth in Holy Scripture?
  • Why do ministers not speak of sin when this was one of the reasons Christ came to earth?
  • Why do churches not take Bible names for their church building?
  • Why do churches insist upon building a youth structure since there is no known acceptance of Christ ever preached?
  • Why don’t churches have longer prayer services?

The reason is because few people seek the truth.

EDUCATION

Once America was probably the best place in the world to obtain an education – but today it may be the worst. What has happened is the mothers and fathers were brought up in a liberal environment. The children are now subjected to the same teaching. Maybe worse! The children are not told to seek the truth. This is the core value of the learning process.

The great astronomer Galileo said the earth rotates around the sun. The Roman Catholic Church said it did not. The truth states it did. The obvious fact was when intelligence is lowered more money is demanded to upgrade the grades.

On the national average, it costs $400,000 to teach students for an average 30-room capacity for the nine month period. Remember this is the national average. This is about $13,333.34 per student for nine months. This is a sick joke. What do we receive for this? Here are some serious questions:

  • Can these students add, subtract, multiply, or divide without a computer
  • Can these students name the areas of government set forth in the United States Constitution?
  • Can these students write a paragraph?
  • Can these students speak on a subject for 15 minutes? and
  • Can these students describe the character of George Washington?

Where does the money go? The answer is simple – the bureaucrats and buildings get the funding.

Jesus could read and figure. One of the first acts of Christ was to quote from Deuteronomy 8:3 as found in Luke 8:4.

“And when much people were gathered together, and were come to hom out of every city, he spake by a parable.”

All of the answers during the temptation were from the text of the Old Testament in Luke 11:42. It tells us he could divide and subtract.

“But woe unto you, Pharisees! For ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.”

Jesus knew the truth about arithmetic.

On November 2, 2018, Andre Keshna reported that stopping marijuana smoking for 30 days allows a greater capacity to remember information. Our society has become drug induced. The use of drugs (dope) could come to a halt in about 30 days. All seller, growers, and users could be punished.

The science of physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and history should be taught with the idea of truth in the background. The books must also be written for the truth. If this were to occur there would be a fast change in the culture of this nation.

Many would deny such an event. The list would include teachers of political science, bureaucrats, denomination ministers, rabbi’s, priests, and crafty politicians. Do not pay attention to such people unless they tell you the truth.

The truth was lost in 1962 and 1963 – when prayer was removed, and Bible readings were forbidden in the public school system.

Today there can be no debate about what the truth is on given subject. The reason is that it’s easily shown that the absence will result in slurs, off color remarks and ill founded facts. An honest discussion would not be possible to seek the truth. The schools teach otherwise.

Day after day it seems that God has withdrawn from the presence of the culture of the United States. The left has launched an attack on the Constitutional Republic, and their main purpose seems to be to destroy and obliterate capitalism, Bible values and the Ten Commandments.

The desire of these evil sinners is from every culture of their mouth is to destroy those of us who are believes is Jesus Christ.

History shows us that there will be a time when physical conflict will come.

ONLY WAY

The early church was almost planless. Yes, the apostles met and prayed together often, because they desired to know the will of God. Acts 6:2-4, informs us what had to be done.

“Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint of this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”

God then moved strongly to move the church forward. We should follow this pattern. This happened when the the conversion of Paul and the conversion of Cornelius came about.

First, we must lay the situation before God. Ask for help! Seek help! Expect help!

So many times we think we have the answer to problems when our way is the wrong way. The reason is we do not know all of the events surrounding God’s decision to act the way he does.

Second, we should not question what the herd has brought about. God does not need us – but we need him. One illustration of God’s plan is to read the book of Jonah, which only has four chapters. God had a plan for Jonah as set out in Jonah 1:1-2.

“Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of A-mit’ta-I, saying. Arise, go to Nin’e-veh, that great city, and cry against it: for their wickedness is come up before me.”

When it was not carried out there was failure for the person and as always punishment to those who do not follow the truth.

Truth has not been a part of our society and our culture. Jesus is the sole way that we can live. The educators should again put the Bible in the public schools and the universities.

CONCLUSION

  • Seek the truth in every sphere.
  • Our schools are a disaster.
  • Show pupils the Bible and
  • Confront all sins.

God Bless Our Republic.
KEEP THE FAITH!

OPEN MY EYES THAT I MAY SEE

“Open my eyes, that I may see
Glimpses of truth Thou hast for me;
Place in my hands the wonderful key
That shall unclasp and set me free.

Silently now I wait for Thee,
Ready my God, Thy will to see,
Open my eyes, illumine me,
Spirit divine!

Open my ears, that I may hear
Voices of truth Thou sendest clear;
And while the wave notes fall on my ear,
Everything false will disappear

.
Silently now I wait for Thee,
Ready my God, Thy will to see,
Open my ears, illumine me,
Spirit divine!”
