Empire of Lies

Truth Must Out

“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye
should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ
hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you.” Galatians 3:1.

Truth when told is not accepted by most of us. Someone has said before we ever believed the truth it must be told to us many times. Truth is never grasped quickly by anyone this includes any reader of this blog or the author of this blog.

When you hear about the sin of some person your remarks may be:

“I do not believe that is true”; or “I have known so and so for years and that is not in his or her character.”  Then, the facts come out shortly that what was said was true. Their acquaintance had a flaw in his or her character and what was said was correct. We are ashamed or deeply surprised about the truth of the matter.

Jesus often spoke to the reality of certain matters about truth. Sometimes the listeners were stunned by his remarks. The short passage about the harlot who was caught in the sin is a prime example. You can read it in the gospel of John 8:4, 7.

“They said unto him, Master, this woman was taken in
adultery, in the very act.”
“So when they continued asking him, he lifted up
himself, and ask unto them, he that is without sin
among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”

This was but one point where Jesus brought up the truth which the accusers knew. He spoke the truth. The only defense was to sneak away from what was said.

The 2016 Presidential Election brought out the truth about Hillary Clinton. The voters and the Electoral College knew she was a liar. Her husband was an impeached fabricator who had lied to the American citizens. Good riddance of both of them.

The present muslim-leaning socialist-oriented short-termer that now occupies the White House is without a doubt one of the worse people to occupy the White house mansion at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He distorts the truth. The political system of this nation is conceived and practiced on lies told to the American nation. Look at the records:

FDR knew Japan would attack us – the only issue was when,
• Eisenhower knew of the U-2 over Russia,
• JFK’s father probably stole the 1960 election,
• LBJ had his Bay of Tonkin,
• Nixon understood Watergate,
• Reagan could not remember about the Contra Affair,
• Bush senior was an instigator of war against Iraqi,
• Clinton – just watch his lips move for the latest lie, and
• Bush junior had his weapon of mass destruction.

These are merely a few of the lies told to us. Look at the history of these men who sought and obtained public office. Those listed above are merely the known lies.

Never trust any politician for the truth.

In our society, individuals seek to evade the truth for various reasons. The medical profession has deliberately made money off of this fact. The physicians and pharmacy companies have created different types of concoctions which will hide reality.

There are several formulas that cover the facts as they are. One such tablet is Lorazepam which slows the body and brain to a slower pace. Another such pill is Toprol. In many incidents the same effect is produced. In fact, it is a hideous act on the part of the medical profession and drug corporations.

In fact, medical doctors, for the most part only know two things to do. Cut on you or medications. There are some who have a different opinion but for the most part this is not the case.

There are two groups of people that are preyed upon – veterans of military action and the elderly.

In all of our society, “false news” is a given. The democrats have tried to spread untruths but the candidate, Hillary Clinton was such a liar that the truth came out. The truth is she and her husband were unable to speak the truth – yet millions of people voted for her. She won the popular vote. This is a serious comment on the American people, it was an imprisoned man in the Ecuador Embassy who had put out the truth out.

Look at how advertisement are printed on television, the Internet and in the printed word. One has to research the facts before the truth can be obtained. Be cautious what you accept as the truth. There are some simple rules which can be found and used:

When buying – get it in writing,
• See the article itself,
• Test the item physically,
• Record the sales pitch,
• Seek a guarantee for length of time, and
• Sleep on the purchase overnight.

God gave a brain for us to use in our daily life. It should be used. This is the reason that the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy must be read and observed daily. Mankind is not capable of formatting the truth. There must be a rule to exist. In the twentieth chapter of Exodus the law of God is summarized for us to use every waking moment. As to this blog now – one should read Exodus 20:1,15-17.

“And God spake all these words, saying …”

“Thou shat not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor
his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything
that is thy neighbour’s.”

Man cannot live at peace unless the rules and prohibition of God are followed. One must look at history to accept this fact. Truth in every conflict can be found. This was a characteristic of Jesus Christ when walked on the face of the earth about two thousand years ago. In fact, he claimed he was the truth. John 8:12, tells us who Jesus was.

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the
light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk
in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

This means Christ IS the truth.

When Paul wrote this letter to the Galatians actually it was to a small region in what we call today as Turkey. There must have been several Churches in this place.

False doctrine had become a part of the fabric of these churches. We are not certain what all was involved but when we read this letter it was disturbing to Paul who was the Apostle to the Gentiles. Here is what he wrote in Galatians 3:1-4.

“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that
ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus
Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among
This only would I learn of you, received ye the spirit
by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the spirit, are ye
now made perfect by the flesh?
Have ye suffered so many things in vain? If it be yet
in vain.”

Strange doctrines have been entered into our churches – even now. It is for the reason we Christians must be alert to those who want a different movement than returning to the restoration plea. Elders and deacons must be chosen very carefully who can teach and instruct members in depth.

Paul knew for certain that the law given by the prophets and Moses was not the answer to the acceptance of God. Power comes by faith that God will see each of us through.

It was Abraham who was told by God he would be a blessing to all people in Galatians 3:8.

“And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify
the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel
unto Abraham, saying, in thee shall all nations be

One of the key versus in this book is set forth in Galatians 3:10-11.

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under
the curse: for it is written, cursed is everyone that
continueth not in all things which are written in the
book of the law to do them.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of
God, it is evident: for, the just shall live by faith.”

The Roman Catholic church has always taught that that just shall live by works. This is contrary to the Bible instruction.

We do not work our way to heaven. It is the combination of works and faith that insures our personal salvation.

The majority of church members have a microwave idea about church. It is to go for a short time a couple of Sundays a year. Announce we are a Christian and be sure to attend when the grandchild is sprinkled. And – that’s about it!

Paul was different. He stated this was a covenant and thus it cannot be set aside according to Galatians 3:15.

“Brethren I speak after the manner of men; though
it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed,
no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.”

There would come a blessing through the promise to Abraham. Read Galatians 3:18.

“For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more
of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.”

Little is mentioned in the modern church about the law much less of the justice of the law. The law was so restrictive that only Jews could be accepted but now this is different. All people can be brought in to the saving grace though a faith.

The problem is that few accept the modern church. The Gospel is for all people. Paul assured us this when he wrote in Galatians 3:28-29.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither
bond nor free, there is neither male nor female:
for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed,
and heirs according to the promise.”

It does not matter the color of your skin, poor, rich, educated, Jew, or gentile you are able to be accepted by our God who is the only God almighty.

Actually what we do is put on Christ once we are immersed that is told to us in Galatians 3:27.

“For as many of you as have been baptized into
Christ have put Christ.”

His immersion is essential for us. We are not elected but we make a decision within us to accept the Messiah. There is no other way to come to Jehovah Almighty but through Christ. This means the muslims are liars.

All Eastern religions are fake. Remember we speak only the truth. Jesus is the truth.

“Living for Jesus a life that is true;
striving to please him in all that I do,
yielding allegiance, glad hearted and free,
this is the pathway of blessing for me.

O Jesus, Lord and Savior,
I give myself to thee;
for thou, in thy atonement,
didst give thyself for me;
I own no other master,
my heart shall be thy throne,
My life I give, henceforth to live,
O Christ for thee alone.

Living for Jesus who died in my place,
bearing on Calvary my sin and disgrace,
such love constrains me to answer his call,
follow his leading and give him my all.

Living for Jesus wherever I am,
doing each duty in his Holy Name,
willing to suffer affliction or loss,
deeming each trial a part of my cross.

Living for Jesus through earth’s little while,
my dearest treasure, the light of his smile,
seeking the lost ones he died to redeem,
bringing the weary to find rest in him.”
