“The Angel of the Lord encampeth
Round about them that fear him.
And delivereth them.”
Psalms 34:7.

Several months ago, a producer of television epics was given by Ken Burns. This man has an ability to depict events of the past which tell a story of that time period. The last was a series of events that came about in a country that very few people even knew existed. The place was Vietnam.

Several groups and people had been conquerors of these people. The Chinese at one time were able to seduce them. Then during the Colonial Period, the French conquered them. The French held this nation until the Japanese army rolled into such places as Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.

When WWII was over, the French then returned to fight the Communists. The commitment was without much force. Negotiations in the beginning were soft and without brute force. The people were allowed to move south if they desired. Many Roman Catholics did just that.

Those who espoused Marxist-Socialist views and haters of liberty began to infiltrate South Vietnam. You must have notices wherever socialist communist or marxist are in control, Christians will attempt to flee or remove themselves from the group of these evil people.

Another action is to go underground such as what has happened in China for 60 years. In watching how Robert Burns told the year of this conflict one could sense it was a depiction of blame on the men who fought communism and socialism. Not one time was it shown that following their way – was it a plus.

  • Communism was stopped in southeast Asia.
  • People could see the commitment of American people.
  • We trained men for the future.
  • We saw who the cowards were.
  • Christian men can find warrior hearts

Some of the characters who were there are despicable men. One such man was John Kerry who later became Secretary of State. It took Boone Pickens to show what he really was.

There was a man who was told by God that certain statements were important. Before giving into the Promised Land God spoke in Joshua 1:6-7.

“Be strong and of a good courage:
For unto this people shalt thou
Divide for an inheritance the land,
Which I sware unto their fathers to
Give them.
Only be thou strong and very
Courageous, that thou mayest
Observe to do according to all the law,
Which Moses my servant commanded
Thee: turn not from it to the
Right hand or to the left, that thou
Mayest prosper withersoever thou

Men are to follow this admonition!

There is a tendency in our time to call up the poor and social outcasts for military service. It may have already been brought to your attention that the rich seldom serve in the places where battles are fought. Watch the names of men who are medal of Honor winners. They came from the poor and socially lower class.

The Elite and the rich always get out of the physical conflict of war.

This is a problem among churches. Rich and wealthy churches seldom, if ever evangelize. Christianity is a show. Neither Jesus – nor Paul had very much to do with the rich and mighty.

In recent months, there has arisen a strong mental persuasion among college students and teachers that war is ridiculous, and it must be avoided at any cost. This is a fabrication of weak men and women.

There are some people whose core values are so evil the war is the only way to cleanse the earth of their horrible ways. These insidious people understand only understand WAR.

The aggressors in World War II were Japan and Germany. These two empires brought destruction on themselves. It was a mistake that the Union of the Soviet Republics, Russia –  was not fought with.

These are the groups that are going to commence a war.

North Korea brought on its own brand in 1950. Iraq tried to take a small oil producing nation. The muslims love to kill, rape, murder, and brutalize others. Never forget their constant & continual talk of brutality.

You should never forget Jesus associated with the military. That record is clear. Peter preached to the gentiles – first to a military soldier, his name was Cornelius. Read Acts 16:22.

“And the multitude rose up
Together against them: and the
Magistrates rent of their clothes, and
Commanded to beat them.”

We Christians should never forget that our people must uphold the military.

Armed conflict is a way of life for people on this earth. It would be difficult to ever remember a time when there was not a clash of arms.

In the history of all time, certain males are created to be warriors. Then, others must be trained to lead men into battle. The military is a must for any society. Some enjoy the conflict for it is. James 4:1, points out those who crave war.

“From whence come wars and
Fightings among you? Come they
Not hence, even of your lusts that
War in your members?”

Once upon a time, the United States fought to the death those who opposed us. This was in World War II.  It required this nation to fight in two places. They were the European Theater and the Pacific Theater. The victory was complete. It was later lost because of cowardly politicians in Washington D.C.

Starting with Abraham in the Old Testament, they showed us many men of valor who taught us how battles were fought. Genesis 19:14-15, tells us how the Father of the Jews fought.

“And Lot went out, and spake
Unto his sons in law, which married
His daughters, and said, Up get you
Out of this place; for the Lord will
Destroy the city, but he seemed as
One that mocked unto his son in
And when the morning arose,
Then the angels hastened Lot,
Saying, arise, take why wife, and thy
Two daughters, which are here; lest
Thou be consumed in the inquiry of
The city.”

There are many others that you can see the way these people fought and planned this battle. Here are the names of these people:

  • Moses
  • Joshua
  • Gideon
  • Deborah
  • Barak
  • Jephthah
  • Samson
  • David
  • Joab
  • Abner
  • Saul

There were others who we are not as familiar with the topic.  The Old Testament does say they were defenders of these people. We know that those who were named first sought approval from Jehovah – God.

Currently, there are men among us that want money and power. Such as Bill Clinton, who was not willing to put his own life on the line. He was a Commander-in-Chief – but, he never served a single day wearing a military uniform.

The marxist-socialist democrat, Obama, was not willing to serve this nation unless it brought power to him personally. He had a sorry feeling for the muslims, because he was trained under one of their schools in the Far East.

George Bush – #43, is basically a man who dodged serving in Vietnam. He was allowed to be in the Alabama National Guard. He dodged the draft.

There can be no way these three men can be respected by any patriot. Their history is one of shame. The real character of Clinton and Obama can easily observed. The driving force of Clinton is seen easily in the “Uranium One” event.  He ONLY desires money and power.

We watched as the muslim-leaning Obama showed us that his driving force is money and lying. This man is without the slightest tinge of honor.

Ask yourself how he compares with presidents Andrew Jackson, George Washington and Ronald Reagan. He does not.

In the first 26 books of the New Testament – war is not brought to the attention of the reader. The two themes are the individual of the Church, which is in the last book, and in Revelation – we learned of a huge battle to be fought.

It is referred to in Revelation 17:14.

“These shall make war with the lamb
And the lamb shall overcome
Them: for he is Lord of lords, and
Kind of kings: and they that are
With him are called, and chosen and

The United States has produced great soldiers and fighters.

Here is a partial list of these men:

  • George Washington
  • Andrew Jackson
  • Winfield Scott
  • Stonewall Jackson
  • Robert E. Lee
  • George Armstrong Custer
  • Black Jack Pershing
  • Douglass MacArthur
  • George Patton
  • Ulysses S. Grant
  • Nathan B. Forrest

All of above listed were believers in God and his Son.

In order to have a clear understanding of how to win a fight – it must be studied from the view that was advanced through the years and through the centuries. Here is the progression of the various ways to wage war:

  • First – hand-to-hand combat.
  • Second – in an organized group.
  • Third – artillery for use at a distance.
  • Fourth – in the trenches.
  • Fifth – fast moving.
  • Sixth – our power.
  • Seventh – in Cyberspace.

The Church has used these methods in the past. Your author could go into one of these so that you could comprehend the progression what has happened and will take place in the immediate future.  They are now in retreat.

From the observations of the past it does not seem the groups such as the following know who they are:

  • Disciples of Christ
  • Methodist
  • Presbyterian
  • Lutheran
  • Episcopal
  • Roman Catholic

What is happening is men are becoming like a woman and thus the warlike qualities are forfeited.

You can see the results. Women are often elders. Men are removing themselves from leadership. Women are taking their place in the body of Christ and men should leave it alone. The same is true of men.

Men: Christ taught us to fight!

  1. Prepare for war,
  2. Advance toward the enemy,
  3. War is a national state, and
  4. Never break and run

“Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.

At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

What the saints established that I hold for true.
What the saints believed, that I believe too.
Long as earth endureth, men the faith will hold,
Kingdoms, nations, empires, in destruction rolled.

Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gains that Church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise, and that cannot fail.

Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud and honor unto Christ the King,
This through countless ages men and angels sing.”
