Lies, Scams and More Filthy Lies

“”And the woman said unto the serpent,
“We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden.
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it,
Lest ye die.” And the serpent said unto the woman,
”Ye shall not surely die.”  Genesis 3:2-4.

A scam is an act of deception, as well as an act of delusion. When things appear to be one way – only it’s really different than stated. The perpetrators do this to win the confidence of people that they want to deceive.

Recently, an intelligent person told me of a religion which he had formerly been a member of that taught their followers to scam. The followers of this religion were told not to believe the Bible – but, if issues arise; then they should come to the leaders for advice. This is a scam.  The Holy Scripture is there to guide us. Religion often follows this pattern which teaches humans to believe only what men spout out of their mouth.

A good example of this manic thought pattern was committed by a man in the Disciples of Christ. His name was Jim Jones.  He had his followers drink Kool-Aid that was poisoned. On purpose. As we heard the story, over 900 people died after the Kool-Aid was swallowed. He held himself up as a savior, when he was really a liar and a scam artist. This man was educated at Butler University, which is a liberal theology school of the Disciples of Christ.  He was a fraud.

This blog will attempt to show that scams and frauds are as active today -as they have always been. In the political world within the Democratic Party, we are witness to about twenty scam demons.  Their sole purpose is to bring down the downfall of our Constitutional Republic.

One of their lies is that these people will never tell you how much any of their “State Programs” will cost. They only say that the so-called rich will be taxed. Only about 1% or 2% would pay for the socialist schemes.  Even if they took ALL OF THE ASSETS of the rich – that still would not pay for their Socialist schemes.  Look what has recently happened in Venezuela.  Ugh!

It is always the same. We need the news to have morality or ethics because there are no absolutes. Truth is not constant but, it changes from day to day. This is a scam. This is a fraud. The group that spews this language, only wants more money or more power – or both.

When Solomon died, the kingdom split. The king of the 10 tribes, Jeroboam, committed a scam on his people. He wanted to keep the people from going to Jerusalem to worship.  We are told how he committed a fraud and scam on the lives of people. I Kings 12:28-31, discusses this.

“Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, it is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem; behold thy gods, O’ Israel, which were not of the Land of Egypt.”

He said there are other gods. Just before Jerusalem fell to the hordes from Babylon the prophet Jeremiah spoke out in Jeremiah 7:3-4, 8.

“Thus, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel. Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, are these. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.”

One of the most important passages is found in Hosea 4:6, 7. This is a condemnation of then and now.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore, will I change their glory into shame.”

We often refer to the last few books of the Old Testament as Minor Prophets. This is not a series of unimportant writers; but to the contrary,  some of the most important graphics and beautiful passages are included in them. One example is Amos 5:24.

“But let judgement run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.”

The Bible gives The Truth to us. The Words of  God are not from fraud – nor from scam.  This is how we know what REALITY IS.

GOVERNMENT

Only the simple and ignorant, ever put any confidence on what the population of the cesspool says. The President has given a nickname regarding the Lefties in Washington D.C. He refers to them as “The Swamp”.  This is incorrect.  It is a cesspool!  It is a place in which the “Committees of Fraud”, thrive. It’s fairly easy to figure this out.

The United States has seen many laws that they’ve made into a scam. One of the largest that I know about is the Social Security fraud.  It came into being in 1936 and 1937. There was to be a fund that was kept – supposedly for those who paid into it by a certain class of workers.

It was never properly funded. The money collected for Social Security really goes into the General Fund – whereby our representatives are free to pillage and purge as they see fit. At first, several workers supported the ONE who received the payment.  It’s reached such a dire magnitude  that now the fund needs to be supported by TWO workers – for each person who might receive the benefits.

The Social Security system is a fraud and a scam!  It’s destined to run out of money.  For sure.

Another scam and fraud was the invasion of Iraq.  George Bush gave the order to invade. This caused the death of 4,000 of our military men and women. Supposedly, the Iraqi ruler had weapons of mass destruction. There were men in Washington D.C who wanted war. Of course, they did not go to Iraq themselves. Nor, did they fire even one shot. They sent men to die. This was a fraud and scam by the President and his advisors.

Another fraud and scam was when the politicians abandoned the South Vietnamese people and let the Socialistic Marxist’s take control of the nation of Vietnam.

The Cesspool did it again. Never trust the Cesspool.

LOCAL SCAMS

Fraud doesn’t only happen in far-away places. There are local events which indicate what is happening. Several years ago, many people received letters from certain countries in Africa. The scam went like this:

The Scammer informed the said reader that he or she had an inheritance in Africa. (usually from a Nigerian Prince). In order to receive this long-lost finding, one would have to send a large sum of money, in order to claim the money.  It was to be paid because of a “Tax” or some other lie.

The result was always the same for those who fell for this trick. The money they sent in was lost in the blackhole of the scam. I knew of a woman who lost money from this.  The authorities could do nothing to cure the stupidity of the people that participated.

Another form of a scam was when someone received a phone call from “the F.B.I”. The person was told to take money to a specific place and then they would not be arrested.  They’ve also said that the person owed money to the IRS.

VERY SCARY!  The FBI and the IRS never make phone calls! They usually mail you a notice or notices.  If that doesn’t work for them – then, they just tell the bank to FREEZE your bank account(s).  That seems to work well. (At least the “Scammers” didn’t get your money.)

Another method to scam our citizens is through government grants. It could be a local, state, or federal method. Generally, there is little checking done on how the money is spent or distributed. Most of the time, only one person spends the grant where the money is sent. Look around where you live and ask questions.

The great wealth this nation has produced has brought forth vast sums of money being spent on non-profit institutions. You should be very careful who receives your money. Here is a list of places money can be accumulated:

  • Hospitals,
  • Feeding the homeless,
  • Houses used for shelter,
  • Schools
  • Universities,
  • Special needs for a person,
  • National catastrophes, and
  • Entertainment for youth.

This blog isn’t saying that all gifts aren’t used as they were intended to be used. Some are used and some are not. The rule is very simple. Investigate before the gift. Giving to political parties, (PACS), has been a curse on this government. This is known as “Buying votes”.

Look at the way money was distributed in the New Testament. There were two areas in which it was mentioned in the Bible. First, we are commanded to feed the poor. Again, and again Jesus called this to our attention. The rich, young ruler was instructed to do this. You can read about this in Matthew 19:20-22.

“The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.”

The poor are to be cared for –  by those who have the money. Money is to be carefully spent.

The second area for concern was the work of the Kingdom of God. In I Corinthians 16:1-3, Paul insisted gifts were taken to Jerusalem.

“Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.”

The facts is that there are some great works that may need money to support religious endeavors. We should give liberally to these causes. Here is a list you might consider:

  • New Churches,
  • Bible studies,
  • Bible believing seminaries,
  • Missionaries,
  • Bible distribution, and
  • Support those who attack a specific sin, i.e. Anti-Abortion, Drug Abuse, etc.

One can always state why he should give to a specific and supposedly  good work. But, before any gift is given, there is a fundamental rule. It is to investigate. The following are some areas to examine:

  • See their budget,
  • How many employees,
  • Talk to an employee
  • What is their mission to help others?
  • What facilities are being used,
  • Never give because someone else gives, and
  • Are the leaders Christian?

Always investigate the impact of what has already been done. From looking at America today and what took place yesterday – things have changed. The data is not known, but it seems that there are more scams and fraud now – than there was decades ago. All one needs to do is watch what CNN is showing to see how the lies are told. It is the way of life now.

Recently your author sued AT&T for misconduct. When the answer came back from my complaint, the other attorney said the lawsuit named the wrong party. I should have addressed Southwestern Bell. All correspondence and bills came from AT&T – not Southwestern Bell. What was the reason for this? The answer is not known. Another little trick the conglomerates can play with us.

EVEN  JESUS  WAS SCAMMED

We know that when Jesus was arrested, it was in the night-time. The reason for this was that he was in the temple teaching, daily. If he had been apprehended during the daylight hours, the people would have rioted. Luke 22:52-53.

“Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, But, ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves. When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

Then Mark 14:48-49, states again what Jesus said.

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with slaves to take me? I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.”

There was a plot to kill Jesus by the leaders in Matthew 26:3-5.

“”Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas. And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty and kill him, But they said, “Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.””

Never be surprised by a scam or a fraud. Expect it. The saying should come to you when honesty is found. You can say that I am a pessimist. This is not correct.  I am a realist!  This world of Satan upholds scams and frauds.

Christianity tells the truth about our inner souls. We are transgressors and breaker of God’s commandments. What Christ did on Calvary’s cross was to carry all of our sins. He was the Sacrificial Lamb that removed our sins and gave us purity.

No one likes a scam or fraud perpetuated on them. God sees though all of the scams and frauds which we do to each other and to ourselves. Acts 2:38, tells what to do:

“Then Peter said unto him, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Christianity seeks our return to the good Grace of God.

CONCLUSION

  1. Scams are a way of life.
  2. Government IS a scam of our lives.
  3. Religion scams people.
  4. Christ is truthful.

God Bless Our Republic.

KEEP THE FAITH!

I’LL LIVE FOR  HIM

“My life, my love I give to Thee,
Thou Lamb of God Who died for me;
O may I ever faithful be,
My Savior and my God!

Chorus:
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
How happy then my life shall be!
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
My Savior and my God!

I now believe Thou dost receive,
For Thou hast died That I might live;
And now henceforth I’ll trust in Thee,
My Savior and my God!
 [Chorus]

O Thou who died on Calvary,
To save my soul And make me free,
I’ll consecrate My life to Thee,
My Savior and my God!”
 [Chorus]
