Our Leadership Needs Wisdom

“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning.
And a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.”
Proverbs 1:5.

The first chapter of the book of Proverbs instructs the readers to seek wisdom. Scholars of today consider that Solomon wrote a large portion of this volume which touches many subjects – but the main idea in all this writing is to understand what is happening in each person’s surroundings.

Wisdom can be summarized in a few words such as prudence, discretion, judgment, and finally plain old horse sense. We all have thoughts about our environment. Common sense says not to pick up a red-hot piece of iron. Wisdom also tells us that too much food can cause one to become sick.

The way we acquire wisdom is in several different methods. First there are the individuals who have had life experiences which we are undergoing. When thia author was in the United States, Army and training to be in combat, we were taught to lower our heads, so the enemy is less likely to see you. We listened to a person who had been there and done it.

Second, read about the situation by a person who wrote a description. This is one reason history is important to any person. The past describes your facts. This is one reason we should examine what someone else describes the happening. There is a saying which is 99% true today. There is an old adage that there is nothing new under the sun.

Third, the Lord has an answer for what book we are to look in and what to do in every conceivable situation. This book has a name – the Bible. There are two sections which give answers. You may or may not accept the response. Here there is a fact which most people do not want to read.

We should cling to the answers that we get in the Bible, because God is the ultimate Author of both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

Fourth this has an explanation also. Some call it mistakes. Some call it “Trial and Error”. Some call it “Trial and Failure”. Whatever it is – the process is painful. Someone has said Thomas Edison tried many times to create the lightbulb. Finally, this inventor was able to correct the filament which worked.

Fifth, some people are able to tell you a resolution when they hear about your problem. The answers came to them and not to you.

Here’s an example:

Quickly after the allies landed in France, part of the army turned to the right to take Cherbourg on the peninsula. But, the hedgerows made the going more difficult. Finally, a young army soldier made the suggestion to build a type of shovel on the front of a tank, and cut out though the hedgerows – so the Germans could not hide in the bushes. The Allies quickly took Cherbourg in the aftermath.

Just as there are ways to acquire knowledge there are ways to not take advice from those around you.

First, remember that anyone who is a sitting politician should always be denied any credibility. At this time, the United States is undergoing a critical time. When a Democratic governor declares he or she should be guiding these states – then know at once that these people are legally wrong and probably morally evil. Look at this list and judge for yourself:

State                         Governor

New York             A. Cuomo

New Jersey          P. Murphy

Illinois                   J. Pritzker

Michigan              G. Whitmer

California             K. Brown

Oregon                   C. Baker

Look at this record before, now, and present. How did each one handle the Coronavirus –  which originated in China. China’s communist party should be blamed. The hatred for Donald Trump is a mental problem with these socialist progressive Democrats. These are merely an example of incompetent people. Sitting politicians are always wrong.

Second, be sure of who you confide in because of the following remark is applicable.

The Bible says to love your friends and love your enemies. The problem is they both are often the same. Be careful who you talk to about life. Learn this basic philosophy – keep your mouth shut.

Third, anyone who does not know the Holy Scripture will give a distorted solution to what perplexes you. Ask the person the basic question whether he is knowledgeable of the Holy Word.

Fourth, consider what could happen and think it through before you act. You will need to consider all of the possible failures which might befall you. It depends what you are attempting. Here is a list that might occur:

  • Physical,
  • Bankruptcy,
  • Loss of a friend, (s)
  • Be Afraid.

Fifth, remember there is always someone who is observing your actions. You will be criticized. Do not let this be a stumbling block. Listen to what they say – but verify the suggestion. This was Ronald Reagan’s attitude.

Evil will always fail – but it takes time for that to happen.

The more you listen to humans, the more it is obvious that as a group they are wrong. When the crowd says this in the way, then be sure it is not. The Supreme Court of Texas ordered that lawyers had to have a paperless office. This was an outright lie!

I talked to the company that supplies my office paper. We now use more paper than before – and this company is selling more than they did before. This is another statement that the government told we lawyers. Crowds are always wrong in their actions.

Each person depends upon some different prophecies. Farmers and construction workers will look at the predictions over the weather channel daily. It is now common for us to want to know the supposed weather so that we wear the right clothes. This is true especially during the winter months. Will there be snow or rain, or high winds? Actually, what is being sought is wisdom to react in a given set of circumstances.

We rely more and more on advertisements so that the correct decision can be made. It is a desire for wisdom. One factor is what type of advertisements should be used. Television is being used for certain areas such as furniture, mattresses, and new medicines.

Wisdom is sought when there is the listing of various illnesses which supposedly will be cured by this one small pill.

Yes, wisdom is told to you over the idiot box – television.

Attitudes are produced by reading Facebook in this social era. An attempt to change how people examine events and property. Remember, who wants to change that environment. Facebook can be a bed of lies, fraud and ignorance. Wisdom is sought to be a change.

In the beginning of this blog there was set out 5 (five) areas in how we should determine what to do. Remember there is a pattern that should be followed.

Image is of a man holding up a “Black Lives Matter” sign – with buildings being burned all around him.

In the last few days, riots have happened in many democratic cities that followed a pattern of self-destruction. Often there is a pattern of breaking the laws. This is evil. This is the beginning of social, progressive, and the takeover by the Communists. Rational logic is not their forte. The argument – if you can call it that, falls into one or all of the following:

  • Yelling,
  • Fast talking,
  • Lies,
  • No rational thoughts,
  • Past wrongs,
  • Past events,
  • Slavery,
  • Excuses,
  • Carrying signs,
  • Comparisons, and
  • Everybody agrees with me.

It is impossible to reason with such ignorance. Reasoning with liars is foolish.

Blacks seek to have dominance over the white race. However, we are supposed to be evil because of the color of our skin. Some blacks, not all think this way. Whites have provided these items for the blacks:

  • They enjoy Affirmative Action,
  • They enjoy free education at many universities,
  • They vote in a block, if possible,
  • They are free to yell and scream at police,
  • They like to blame their personal sins on whites,
  • They have little understanding of the United States Constitution.

Jesus Christ spoke to the Jewish people soon after His Resurrection, through the efforts of the Apostles. It was a worldwide concept. The Gospel was, and is, for all races but each race must be instructed in how to use the Holy Scriptures.

At the time of the Crucifixion, the separation between God and man was destroyed. God gave the sign. The curtain of the Holy of the Holies were split. The ceremonial laws were gone forever. Luke 23:44-46, tells us this.

“And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.”

Then the Gospel, wrote Paul, discusses this in Ephesians 2:14-15, who brought this matter up.

“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.”

Matthew 16:1-4, is a remark that Jesus made to the Jewish leaders. It applies to us also.

“The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.”

We should listen to men who speak as Jonah did. Look around you for the signs of the breakdown of society. This happens in all nations when fundamentals are not adhered.

The need to reform is all around us. Jesus told the masses what the problem was and is even today. Matthew 13:13-15, tells us what the basic problem is.

“Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

History does repeat itself. England went through a revolution under Cromwell. France went through a revelation under Napoleon. The Rome Church went through a revolution under Martin Luther. The Soviet Union went through a revolution as soon as Stalin died. He was denounced. The 13 (thirteen) Colonies went through a revolution as soon as King George, put a tax on on them. In each case the leaders lost sight what their responsibility was.

The leadership must use wisdom. True wisdom only comes from one place.  It can be found in His Holy Word.

Paul wrote in Romans 1:21-22, tells what the evil people have done.
“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”

The current riots, looting and theft must be put down by force. These evil people do not understand anything else. You will hear comments that these people are crazy. This is not so – they are demonic and evil. No one denies the right to protest. The destruction of property and personal violence is not acceptable. What does the looting of Target, Walmart, and Macys have to do with a protest? Nothing.

The thugs and young misguided people are in charge of ripping up our culture. It is in Proverbs 8:21-24, that the promise which is given to us.

“That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.”

These young adults are to be held in contempt because they have not had instruction how to conduct themselves.

In the beginning of this blog it was set out on how to seek wisdom by the 5 (five) reasons that were explained. Then, there was what the world seeks to do to us.

Let not your heart be troubled.  God still rules. Such evil monsters as Soros, Pelosi, and Schumer will be dealt with. Hopefully sooner – rather than later.

  1. Seek wisdom,
  2. Keep positive,
  3. Understand how evil works,
  4. Stand firm as a Christian.

God Bless Our Republic.

“Work, for the night is coming,
Work thru the morning hours;
Work while the dew is sparkling,
Work ‘mid springing flow’rs.
Work when the day grows brighter,
Work in the glowing sun;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man’s work is done.

Work, for the night is coming,
Work thru the sunny noon;
Fill brightest hours with labor –
Rest comes sure and soon.
Give ev’ry flying minute
Something to keep in store;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man works no more.

Work, for the night is coming,
Under the sunset skies;
While their bright tints are glowing,
Work, for daylight flies.
Work till the last beam fadeth,
Fadeth to shine no more;
Work, while the night is dark’ning,
When man’s work is o’er.”
